Let It In

So, it's 2013. The world didn't end, and I am a lot smarter than I was a year ago.

Today, I spent a lot of time thinking about the future - which is why I had to put the past behind me in the last post.

I look forward to 2013 with two simple goals. For the first time in a while, I have simple, succint goals for the new year. I am full of optimism, and excited to see what will happen this year. There will be a lot of changes, but knowing this, I can more readily roll with them.

2013 is a year of great and positive growth. It's the year that all the pieces come together. I relish looking back at this same time next year and reflecting upon what the year has brought.

I hope 2013 will be a good year for everyone. A lot of people have been struggling, a lot have been affected by tragedy. Time heals all wounds, and I hope that for those people, that their pain, sorrow and sadness hurt less.

I hope that we all use lessons of the past to build upon our future, and affect (infect?) every day from here on out in a positive manner.

There are angels among us. Let our eyes be open to see them.
